Has anyone else noticed how well Daniel Radcliffe has developed or am I the only freak around? 🙂
And the guy who plays Draco Malfoy has done well with the growing up too…

I was sadly pretty disappointed with how much the movie strayed from the book but still I admit visually this one was far far better than the first 2. But the movies dont compare to the books AT ALL. They’ve got NOTHING on them. Except maybe Daniel hehehe…no I’m only kidding!!

This is truly pathetic..I haven’t posted a real entry in soooo long. And sadly things will remain this way for a short while. Until then..more guilty pleasures:) Here’s something the bookworms who read my blog can enjoy.

Directions:
1. Take five books off your bookshelf
2. Book #1 — first sentence
3. Book #2 — last sentence on page fifty
4. Book #3 — second sentence on page one hundred
5. Book #4 — next to the last sentence on page one hundred fifty
6. Book #5 — final sentence of the book
7. Make the five sentences into a paragraph
8. Feel free to “cheat” to make a better paragraph
9. Name your sources
10.Post to your blog and/or a community or in my comments if you are blogless 🙂

The hottest day of summer so far was drawing to a close and a drowsy silence lay over the large, square houses of Privet Drive.
I was just starting to say that the shot wasn’t on the board at any price, and that at the first sign Motty gave of trying to nestle into my little home I would yell for the police, when she went on, rolling placidly over me, as it were.
‘Possibly. Who cares? That sort of thing really gets on my thungas, it really does,’ said the sweeper.
How much of what Leggen said was true, and what might possibly exist under the covers of his words?
But I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.

1. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix; J.K. Rowling
2. Carry on, Jeeves; P.G.Wodehouse
3. Night Watch; Terry Pratchett
4. Prelude to Foundation; Isaac Asimov
5. Kitchen Confidential; Anthony Bourdain

Bill Maher

Was watching Larry King Live and Bill Maher was on. I hadn’t really heard much of his stuff before but I found him very refreshing. He says things that people think but are too afraid to say..too afraid it might be politically incorrect…or more likely things they hadn’t even thought of.AND he’s FUNNY!!
I guess most of what he talks about is things in the American news but then alot of the stuff the rest of the world sees and reads is also America-centric..so his blog‘s really worth checking out.
The guy’s a comedian and had a show called Politically Incorrect that got cancelled after 9 years. The final straw for his bosses was some comment he made about terrorists. Read the transcript of his interview on Larry King Live. Enjoy 🙂
